Welcome! Our new site is under construction, but you'll be able to find us here until the new one goes live. All pressings of Soul Collage and Talk are sold out, we have a few copies of realtime left. Most of the compilation CD, Tracks, (which features tunes from all 3 of my albums, harmony vocals by David Crosby, Graham Nash and Martin Sexton, guitar wizardry by Jeff Pevar and Jim Chapdelaine, bass by jazz phenom François Moutin) is sold out, as well. You can still order securely through Paypal on the CDs page. The new CD, Float, will be released in FALL 2011.
Thank you for supporting independent music!
Peace & joy to all - Dana

BIOS
Dana Pomfret is a singer-songwriter from NYC, now living in New England. She has recorded her original music for Elektra, SBK and Warner Bros. Records, and learned the ropes in New York's rock and folk institutions: CBGB's, The Bitter End, Tramps, The Lonestar, the Bottom Line, etc. She's performed her original music in the US and Europe, and is signed to a publishing deal with Jean Davoust/Paris.
Dana's upcoming release, Float, features 10 new original tunes. The CD reunites Dana with longtime musical partner, Stefani Langol, and was recorded over a period of nearly 4 years by engineer Tommy Skarupa. Tom lugged his gear from kitchens to living rooms, improvising recording studios everywhere and making it possible for a stellar cast of players to work together - sometimes sight unseen! Dana's co-writers and collaborators include legendary guitarist/producer/songwriter Danny Kortchmar, Stefani Langol (keyboards, piano, vocals), Tim McDonald (guitar, vocals), Francois Moutin (upright bass), Jon Peckman (drums, percussion), Jerry Martinez (guitar, vocals), JoAnna Ferrari (violin), Jeff Pevar (guitar), Steve Postell (guitar) and Jen Lowe (percussion). Release date: July 30, 2011.

Previous Albums
Dana's first CD, Talk, was an independent venture which led to a deal with Warner International. Her second disc, Soul Collage, was released on Warner in Europe, Japan and Australia, and independently in the US. The CD features her eloquent, blues-inflected songs and vocals, as well as shining guest performances by rock legends David Crosby and Graham Nash, guitar wizardry by co-producer Jeff Pevar, Martin Sexton on backing vocals, and the singing bass of François Moutin. For info about the making of Soul Collage (and other details) see Jeff Gemmill’s interview with Dana on the "Reviews & Pics" page.
Dana’s 3rd album, realtime, released in Spring, 2003, was co-produced by Emmy Award winning composer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Jim Chapdelaine, (see his bio below).
